The Gabe

In Game 1 at The Gabe, D-BAT Matthews defeated the San Antonio Angels, 6-3. On the mound, Aaron Stramel threw four and struck out three. Stramel allowed one run and was named pitcher of the game. At the plate, Jacob Barnes went 2-3 with three stolen bases. Barnes picked up a run on his way to hitter of the game.

Tanner McCaskey was perfect as the Airhogs defeated the San Antonio Angels, 11-0, in Game 2 at The Gabe. McCaskey pitched five innings, struck out seven of the 15 batters faced, allowed no walks and didn’t give up any hits. Without a doubt, McCaskey was named pitcher of the game. On offense, Max Martinez went 1-3 with a two-run double. And Aaron Page went 2-3 with two RBIs and one stolen base. Page was named hitter of the game.

 

The Airhogs lost to D-BAT Dean, 4-1, in Game 3 at The Gabe. LHP Jackson Rutledge threw a complete game (seven innings) and struck out seven batters. Rutledge gave up four hits and surrendered one run on his way to pitcher of the gameBlake Dean went 1-3 with one double, one walk, one stolen base, and two runs scored. Dean was named hitter of the game.

In the final game at The Gabe (Game 4), D-BAT Dean blanked Dallas Tigers Woods, 2-0. On the mound, Colton Brasher threw a complete game and struck out five. Brasher allowed one walk and was named pitcher of the game. On offense, AJ Parra went 2-2 with one single, one double, and one run scored. Colton Obertheir went 2-3 with an RBI double and was named hitter of the game.

Field 7

NTX Bandito’s knocked off C2 Baseball, 9-1, in Game 1 at Field 7. Nick Ellis went 1-3 with one RBI and two runs scored. Zion Mayberry went 1-3 with one double and one walk. Phillip Sikes went 1-2 with one double, two RBIs and one run scored on his way to hitter of the game. Pitching for the Bandito’s was Zach Carrion who threw 4.1 innings. Carrion struck out four and gave up one run on his way to pitcher of the game.

In Game 2 at Field 7, Texas Stix squeezed by C2 Baseball, 2-1. James Larue went 2-3 with one run scored. Grayson Parkerwent 2-2 with one walk and a stolen base on his way to hitter of the gameCameron Fisher also had a nice game offensively going 1-3 with one double and a run scored, but dealt on the mound. Fisher threw a complete game with three strike outs. Fisher gave up five hits and one run on his way to pitcher of the game.

The Texas Oilers beat DFW Twins Wimpee, 2-1, in Game 3 at Field 7. For the Oilers, Sean Lopez went 1-3 with one double and one run scored. Clarke Creel went 1-3 with one run scored. On the mound, Isaac Allen pitched a complete game four-hitter. Allen also struck out four with two walks and was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 4 at Field 7, Dallas Dodgers beat C3 Futures Baseball 4-1. Kyle Duerson threw three innings with one walk and no runs on his way to pitcher of the gameBoone Montgomery also had a nice game on the mound going 3.1 innings and allowing one hit with two walks, one unearned run, and one strikeout. Hitter of the game was Jimmy Glowenke who went 1-2 with one double, one RBI, and one run scored.

Dallas Tigers Woods defeated DFW Twins Wimpee, 5-1, in Game 5 at Field 7. Mark Ready hit an inside-the-park two-run home run and added a double on his way to hitter of the game. On the mound, William Adair threw three innings and struck out five. Adair was named pitcher of the game.

 

Field 8

D-BAT Wilson beat D-BAT Vega, 3-0, in Game 1 at Field 8. Sawyer Lake was lights out as he threw a complete game one-hitter. Lake struck out 11 and was named pitcher of the game. On offense, Cameron Valle went 1-3 with one double and two runs scored. Valle was named hitter of the game.

Braxton Grady delivered with the game-winning sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh as the Amarillo Titans defeatedStorm Baseball, 4-3, in Game 2 at Field 8. Derek Farmer went 2-2 with one double, one RBI, and one run scored and was named hitter of the game. Tristan Hefner threw five innings with three earned and struck out two on his way to pitcher of the game.

Amarillo Titans beat Texas Stix, 10-0, in Game 3 at Field 8. Pitcher of the game was Marty Carnahan who threw five innings and struck out just as many (5) with no walks. Hitter of the game was Isaac D’Agostino who went 4-4 with one RBI and one run scored.

Academy Select Sun Devils Lytle held of the Texas Stix, 4-2, in Game 4 at Field 8. Bryce Kozeny threw a complete game with four strikeouts and no walks on his way to pitcher of the gameSteven Marks went 2-2 with two RBIs on his way to hitter of the game.

In Game 5 at Field 8, the Texas Raiders defeated the Arlington Heat, 5-1. On the mound, Jeremy Hammer threw six innings and struck out seven batters. Hammer allowed one run on his way to pitcher of the gameDoug Palmer went 2-2 with two RBIs, one walk, and one run scored on his way to hitter of the game.

Matt Hopkins was dominant in the Oklahoma Fuel‘s 7-0 victory over the Texas Stix in Game 1 at Field 9. Hopkins threw six innings and struck out nine with one walk and three hits on his way to pitcher of the gameSam Reynolds went 2-2 with two doubles, one RBI, and one run scored on his way to hitter of the game.

In Game 2 at Field 9, Oklahoma Fuel defeated Fort Worth Cats 16 Black, 4-3. Tyler Kisner tossed three innings allowed one hit in relief to pick up the win and pitcher of the game for the Fuel. Noah Ellis went 1-2 with one double and two RBIs on his way to hitter of the game. Also to note, JJ Rodriguez pitched 4.2 innings and struck out seven for the Cats.

D-BAT Vega beat Academy Select Sun Devils Lytle, 15-10, in Game 3 at Field 9. Noah Kennedy went 1-3 with a grand slam home run. Kyle Strickland went 2-2 one one home run and three RBIs. Matt Lowery went 3-3 with two home runs and five RBIs. Both Strickland and Lowery were named hitters of the game.

In Game 4 at Field 9, NTX Bandito’s beat Arlington Heat Navy, 3-0. Phillip Sikes went 2-2 with one walk and one stolen base on the way to hitter of the gameTyler Follis threw a complete game five-hitter. Follis struck out eight on his way to pitcher of the game.

Field 10

Dallas Tigers Bankston beat Storm Baseball, 4-3, in Game 1 at Field 10. Jacob Carter went 1-3 with a grand slam and picked up hitter of the game honors. Brandon Earnest went 6.1 innings and struck out seven with one earned run on his way topitcher of the game.

Pete Hammrick of Dallas Tigers Bankston had a nice outing on Sunday.

Dallas Tigers Bankston picked up their second win of the day by beating D-BAT Matthews, 2-0, in Game 2 at Field 10. Pete Hammrick threw a complete game four-hitter with no runs allowed. Hammrick struck out nine batters on his way to pitcher of the game. Also to note on Hammrick’s game, he went 2-2 at the plate. Hitter of the game was Rylan King who went 1-2 with a home run.

D-BAT Wilson beat Fort With Cats 16U Black, 12-1, in Game 3 at Field 10. Garrett Penny threw four innings and struck out three batters on his way to pitcher of the gameCameron Valle and Trey Roach both hit three-run home runs for D-BAT and picked up co-hitters of the game honors.

Texas Oilers defeated the Texas Raiders, 5-3, in Game 4 at Field 10. Winning pitcher was Josh Rabe who threw 5.1 innings and struck out six on his way to pitcher of the game. Rabe also hit a home run in the game. Ty Thompson had a monster blast that cleared both fences at Field 10. Thompson went 1-2 and was named hitter of the game.
