Teams in attendance
With all the young hitting talent in the MLB today, I thought I'd give the "old guys" a shout out. I've compiled, to the best of my ability, a list of the top five hitters of the past decade.

Aroldis Chapman didn't lose any juice on his fastball after being traded to the Cubs.
In his frist outing with his new team, Chapman did what he does best: throw absolute heat. Chapman threw 13 100+ pitches in his first appearance with the Cubs. Before Chapman took the mound, the Cubs had only thrown 12 100+ mph pitches since 2008.

Jackie Bradley Jr. finally got revenge on teammate Hanley Ramirez earlier this week.
Ramirez was noted for video bombing Bradley on MLB Network in May. After a few months, Bradley evened the score with a video bomb during Ramirez's interview with MLB Network. The two video bombs came after each of the guys won the AL Player of the Week Award.
Alex Bregman finally got the call Monday night against the Yankees.
The former LSU shortstop made his first MLB appearance after hitting .306 with 20 home runs and 61 RBIs in Double-A and Triple-A this year. It's safe to say Astros fans were eagerly awaiting Bregman's debut as they gave him a standing ovation for his first at bat. Bregman's dad was in awe of the fans' support for his son.
Baseball has an ability to bring people to tears, and that's exactly what it did for this little leaguer.
A kid was upset with his dad because he thought his dad forgot his birthday. However, all was forgiven when the kid found a surprise his dad had for him in the trunk of the car. For any baseball fan, watching this video is like watching The Notebook.

A brawl in an independent baseball league started in unorthodox fashion.
A fight broke out during a game between the Rockland Boulders and the New Jersey Jackals when a Jackals' player ran from his dugout to the other in an attempt to teach someone on the Boulders a lesson. However, this "sneak attack" didn't go in his favor.

A summer college baseball league in Minnesota made a splash with its innovative Home Run Derby.
The Northwoods League held a Home Run Derby during its All-Star break just like the MLB does, but there was one slight difference. Instead of hitting balls out of a park, players hit balls into Lake Michigan.
Roger Clemens is set to make a return to baseball at the age of 53 and is joined by some familiar faces.
Seeking interesting stories to write is really easy around the game of baseball. My love and passion for college baseball led me to seek out a former competitor that is a distant acquaintance, has ties to Division 1 baseball and is a former big league pitcher.
