The official kickoff of Five Tool 8 on 8 Baseball is Saturday, October 28 at 10:00 AM.

In late 2016, the fast-paced, high-intensity concept had a soft opening for individuals wanting to showcase their skills. This year, 12 teams will be competiting for a championship in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for what will be known as the official start to 8 on 8 Baseball.

61 pitchers join the Five Tool 90 Club in Summer '17

Create: 09/18/2017 - 17:05

Five Tool Showcases had 61 pitchers join the 90 Club in the summer of 2017.

To join the list of flame throwers, all a pitcher must do is simply throw 90-plus MPH in a Five Tool event. The velocities ranged from, of course, 90 MPH to a max of 96 MPH. Texas commit Simeon Woods-Richardson (Marucci Elite Texas 2018 Dunn, Kempner (TX) HS 2018) hit 96 MPH at the Five Tool Finale on July 13. Check him out in the video embedded below.
