Surprise Attack Gone Wrong

A brawl in an independent baseball league started in unorthodox fashion.

A fight broke out during a game between the Rockland Boulders and the New Jersey Jackals when a Jackals' player ran from his dugout to the other in an attempt to teach someone on the Boulders a lesson. However, this "sneak attack" didn't go in his favor.

A New Kind of Home Run Derby

A summer college baseball league in Minnesota made a splash with its innovative Home Run Derby.

The Northwoods League held a Home Run Derby during its All-Star break just like the MLB does, but there was one slight difference. Instead of hitting balls out of a park, players hit balls into Lake Michigan.

Rarely do people hear about minor leaguers making history, but that's exactly what happened Wednesday.

Red Sox righthander and Five Tool alumn Michael Kopech threw one of the fastest pitches in baseball history during his start for high Class A Salem. The kid who normally sits at 95-97 threw a 105 mph fastball in his first home start.

Ballgirl stunned by ballboy

During the T-Mobile Home Run Derby last night July 11, the ballboys and ballgirls became a trending topic on Twitter.

Now usually it’s from jealous fans who complain when a 5-year old can’t catch an easy fly ball or if a kid keeps taking the balls away from everyone else, but last night may have drawn some attention from some NFL fans.
