A brawl in an independent baseball league started in unorthodox fashion.
A fight broke out during a game between the Rockland Boulders and the New Jersey Jackals when a Jackals' player ran from his dugout to the other in an attempt to teach someone on the Boulders a lesson. However, this "sneak attack" didn't go in his favor.

Although the video can be seen as comical, this idiotic and selfish move took away from an intense game that was tied 8-8 in the top of the 10th inning. There was no pitch thrown, there was no late slide, this was a move out of pure frustration and selfishness. Defending your teammate after he gets beaned is one thing, but to charge the other teams' dugout in the middle of an inning is disgraceful.
This is an interesting start to a brawl, there is no denying that, but at the same time there's no place for something like this in baseball. I'm sure this player will be facing a fine or suspension.
Remember kids, the best statement a player can make is with his bat, not his fist.
