This year's All-Star Game held in San Diego, California was one of the most memorable events in the years. From the friendly venue of Petco Park, to Giancarlo Stanton showing all of his true power, to even the final All-Star Game for the legendary Red Sox slugger David Ortiz.
During the T-Mobile Home Run Derby last night July 11, the ballboys and ballgirls became a trending topic on Twitter.
Now usually it’s from jealous fans who complain when a 5-year old can’t catch an easy fly ball or if a kid keeps taking the balls away from everyone else, but last night may have drawn some attention from some NFL fans.

Last night, July 11, the MLB held its annual Home Run Derby presented by T-Mobile in part of the festivities for the All-Star break. This year the fans were not let down as the participants gave it all in hopes to win the competition.
Giancarlo Stanton put on a show like no other. Fans have seen him hit towering moonshots during the regular season and last night was no different. Stanton gave fans a true treat with a spectacular performance from the start.
On July 10, the MLB hosted its annual MLB Futures Game in which the top prospects take each other on in a World vs USA Game.
This game allows the best prospects in the MLB to get a glimpse of what it’s like to play in a major league stadium in front of thousands of fans, as well as showcase their talents to the baseball fanbase. For one prospect however, he decided to make a major impact in his team’s stadium.
San Diego Padres top prospect, Manuel Margot, dazzled the crowd during the Futures Game with this remarkable catch that took a home run away from the USA squad.
With the 2016 MLB All-Star Game being held Tuesday, July 12, fans will be in for a good one as the star studded lineups will look to bring bragging rights back to their league. The starting lineups have recently been released and now I will break down my prediction for the game.

Well, you can’t catch them all. Especially if you're the, “Foul Ball Guy”, Zack Hample.
Hample is well known around the baseball world for his numerous trips to varying ballparks in which he manages to take home a bunch of baseballs. This trip however, he took home something else. A bruise to his face.
The Chicago Cubs swung their way to victory to top the struggling Cincinnati Reds 7-2 in 15 innings. This game was long and consisted of some unusual baseball.
Both teams used all 24 available players in hopes to come out victorious, but it seems as if both teams controlled their fate early in the game. Let’s take a look at some game notes from this interesting game via MLB.com
Shortstop Andrelton Simmons was traded to the Angels this past offseason from the Braves. Although he may have left the club who drafted him, he did bring his glove with him to Anaheim.
