Premier 3

Frozen Ropes took care of business in Game 1 at Premier 3 by beating Mizuno Baseball USA Texas, 9-3.  Frozen Ropes' Austin Gross went 2-4 with two doubles, two RBI's, and two runs batted in on his way to hitter of the game.  On the mound, Jeff Wilson threw four hitless innings striking out seven and was named player of the game.

Houston Banditos beat Premiere Baseball Futures Evans, 4-1, in Game 2 at Premier 3.  Houston's Garrett Crochet threw 5.1 scoreless innings striking out nine on his way to picking up the win and player of the game.  Jordan Groshans went 2-4 with one RBI on his way to being named hitter of the game.

Frozen Ropes defeated the Houston Banditos, 6-5, in Game 3 from Premier 3.  Frozen Ropes started the bottom of the 7th down 5-3 but after a two out bases loaded single by Carson Chapman to tie the game 5-5, Jeff Wilson hit a walk-off double to give Frozen Ropes the victory.  Chapman went 1-2 with two RBI's, two runs scored, and was named player of the game.  Also to note, Alerick Soulaire went 3-4 with two doubles, a triple and one RBI for Houston. 

In Game 4 at Premier 3, DBAT Bonesio defeated Clutch Athletics, 5-4.  In an exciting game, Justin Mitchell hit a walk-off double (see below) in the bottom of the ninth to give DBAT the victory.  Mitchell went 2-4 with a double, three RBI’s, and was named player of the gameJacob Nesbit also had a very good game.  Nesbit went 3-4 with two doubles, two RBI’s, two runs scored and was named hitter of the game.

Premier 4

Hunter Pence Danielson defeated Citius Prime, 3-0, in Game 1 from Premier 4J.J. Goss dominated the game on the mound for Hunter Pence Danielson.  Goss threw a no-hitter and struck out ten hitters in six innings. He picked up the win and was named player of the game.  Texas Tech commit, Easton 'Bo' Willis set the tone offensively throughout the game for Hunter Pence Danielson.  Willis ended the day 3-3 with a double, one run scored, and was named hitter of the game.

PrimeTime National held off Premier Baseball Futures Auippa, 4-3, in Game 2 at Premier 4Sebastian Coria went 2-3 with two doubles and one RBI for PrimeTime National.  Coria was named player of the game for his efforts. Porter Brown hit a walk-off single to win it which you can see below.

In Game 3 at Premier 4PrimeTime National defeated Hunter Pence Danielson, 9-1.  Zachary Vorst went 3-4 with a single, a double, one RBI, and a stolen base for PrimeTime National.  He scored two times on his way to player of the game.  On the mound, Zach Visser pitched six innings and had four stirkeouts.  Visser allowed only three hits, zero earned runs, and was named pitcher of the game.

In Game 4 at Premier 4Dallas Tigers Hernandez defeated Mizuno Baseball USA 17U, 10-0.  Dallas’ William Adair threw 6.1 innings giving up zero earned runs and striking out seven on his way to player of the game.  Dillon Carter went 2-3 with a double, a single, one RBI and three runs scored.  Carter was named hitter of the gameCade Cowen also had a good game for Dallas by going 1-1 with a double and four RBI’s.

Premier 5

DBAT Herrick defeated Phenom Texas Gatewood, 8-0, in Game 1 from Premier 5.  DBAT's Steven Swift led the charge on the mound pitching five scoreless innings with four strikeouts and allowing only one hit.  Swift was named player of the game. Teammate, Adam Stephenson went 2-3 with two RBI's and one run scored on his way to being named hitter of the game.  Other DBAT players who stood out were Matthew Werner (1-2 with a double and one RBI), Kyle Warden (1-2 with a single and one RBI), and Marcus Hill (1-2 with a single and one RBI). 

Texas Blackhawks defeated DBAT Elite, 10-6, in Game 2 at Premier 5.  Mateo Gil had a great game for the Blackhawks.  Gil went 2-3 with two home runs, six RBI's, and three runs scored on his way to player of the game.  Teammate, Spencer Sawin went 2-3 with a home run, one RBI, and two runs scored.  He was named hitter of the game.  Also to note, DBAT's Diego Muniz went 2-3 with a home run, two RBI's, and one run scored.

In Game 3 at Premier 5Mizuno Baseball USA defeated Texas Oilers, 3-2.  On the mound, Josh Seale pitched a complete game and struck out nine for Mizuno.  He gave up one earned run and was named player of the game.  At the plate, Warren Sammons went 1-1 with a clutch home run and two RBI's.  Sammons was named hitter of the game.  Also to note, Jake Green went 3-3 with a double and two runs scored for the Oilers.

DBAT Elite 17U narrowly defeated Hunter Pence Crew, 5-4, in Game 4 at Premier 5.  For DBAT, Seth Ochoa went 2-3 with two RBI’s, one run scored, and was named player of the game.  Teammate, Jaden Fowler went 2-3 with a double on his way to hitter of the game.

Premier 6

Albuquerque CageRats' Jonathan Stroman was dominant on the mound leading his team to a 4-2 victory over Marucci Elite Texas in Game 1 at Premier 6.  Stroman pitched all seven innings allowing just four hits and one earned run while striking out seven.  He got the win and was named player of the game.  Also to note for Albuquerque, Jack Pineda went 2-3 with a double and a stolen base while Ryan Johnson went 2-3 with two RBI's.

DBAT Bonesio brought the bats for their 10-0 victory over the Dallas Tigers Hernandez in Game 2 from Premier 6Dylan Ditzenberger went 2-4 with a triple, three RBI's and one run scored.  He also pitched four scoreless innings with three strikeouts and only allowed four hits in order to pick up the win for DBAT.  Ditzenberger was named player of the gameJacob Nesbit went 2-4 with four RBI's, one run scored, and a stolen base on his way to being named hitter of the game. Also to note, Tigers left fielder Cameron Constantine had a sweet catch which you can watch in the video below.

In Game 3 at Premier 6DBAT Griffin defeated Team Citius, 11-9.  For DBAT, Nick Ellington went 2-4 with two RBI's and one scored on his way to being named player of the gameAmare Jones (2-3 with a double, a triple, three runs scored, and a stolen base) and Camron Yeldell (1-4 with a double, three RBI's, and one run scored) both had very good days at the plate for Team Citius.

Texas Stix Black defeated Texas Blackhawks, 8-0, in Game 4 at Premier 6Philip Sikes went 2-2 with a triple, a double, two RBI’s, and one run scored for Texas Stix.  Sikes was named player of the gamePitcher of the game was Bryce Elder who threw 4.1 innings with seven strikeouts and did not allow a run to score.  Also to note, Dylan Neuse went 2-4 with three RBI’s and one run scored.

Premier 7

In Game 1 at Premier 7Austin Elite shutout Texas Colts Elite, 2-0. On the mound, Grant Gaspard threw seven scoreless innings striking out seven.  Gaspard allowed just three hits and got the win for Austin Elite on his way to player of the game

Texas Stix Black held off Hunter Pence Crew, 6-4, in Game 2 at Premier 7Brent Cain went 2-2 with a triple, one RBI, one run scored, and one stolen base for Texas Stix.  Cain was named player of the game.  Teammate, Phillip Sikes went 2-3 with a double, one RBI, two runs scored and was named hitter of the game

Austin Elite defeated DBAT Herrick, 6-2, in Game 3 at Premier 7.  Austin's Dontae Woodard went 2-3 with one RBI and two runs scored on his way to hitter of the game.  Teammate, Kevin Rosengren was very impressive on the mound.  Rosengren pitched a complete game with six strikeouts while he only allowed two runs and four hits to get the win for Austin Elite.  He was named player of the game.

Texas Colts Elite LaRue defeated Scripture Baseball, 10-2, in Game 4 at Premier 7.  On the mound, Chase Carson threw five innings with two strikeouts for the Texas Colts.  He allowed two runs and only three hits on his way to player of the game.  At the plate, Reynol Mendoza went 2-3 with two RBI’s.  Mendoza was named hitter of the game.

Premier 8

San Antonio Angels Blue 17U picked up the victory over Texas Colts Elite, 4-0, in Game 1 at Premier 8Jake Ritchie went 1-1 with a home run, two RBI's, and one run scored for San Antonio.  Ritchie was named player of the game.  On the mound, Ethan Gottschalk pitched five scoreless innings while only allowing two hits and was named pitcher of the game.

Clutch Athletics 17U knocked off Mizuno Baseball USA 17U, 9-1, in Game 2 at Premier 8. Athletics' Johnny Hoyle was solid throwing five innings and striking out three.  He gave up one hit in his outing and was named pitcher of the game.  His teammate Izaiah Faz went 1-3 with a double, three RBI's, and one run scored.  Faz was named player of the gameJustin Dunlap also had a solid game going 1-2 with a double, two RBI's, and one run scored on his way to being named hitter of the game.

Albuquerque CageRats defeated San Antonio Angels Blue 17U, 8-3, in Game 3 at Premier 8.  Treston Shallenberger pitched a complete game with eight strikeouts and only allowed three runs.  Shallenberger also went 1-4 with two RBI's and one run scored at the plate.  He was named player of the game.   His teammate Ryan Johnson went 2-4 with a home run, a double and two RBI's on his way to being named hitter of the game.

In Game 4 at Premier 8Texas Colts Whittemore defeated Houston Warriors Silver, 2-1. Matt Sandoval had an impressive game on the mound for the Colts.  Sandoval threw a complete game striking out four on his way to the win and player of the game. His teammate, Rafael Ochoa went 1-2 with a double, two RBI’s, a stolen base, and was named hitter of the game.
